We have wonderful horses, who are gentle and well trained, but they need to become comfortable to ALL KINDS of situations; crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, balloons, balls, bubbles, etc. If you've noticed all the barrels, balls and stuff laying around in the pastures, we are allowing the horses to be exposed to things that they aren't usually around, but will be, once therapy lessons begin.
Even if you don't enjoy working with horses, we still need bubble blowers and ball tossers! We're hoping to actually get to the point of riding this week, as opposed to only leading the horses. It will be a fun evening.
We'd like to thank everyone who came out last week! This work is invaluable to the success of our therapy.
